Unsure of last name Werner for wife Catherine. It is listed as this in the transcription, but this is the only incidence of this name I can find. I think it much more likely the surname was something similar that aligns with area German names; Winter, Wuster, Wurth, Weymar, Weber, Walter, Weiler, Wagner. There are quite a lot of options.. just not sure which is correct. "Werner", as far as I can see, does not appear among the original settlers.
