Notes

Unsure of last name Werner for wife Catherine. It is listed as this in the transcription, but this is the only incidence of this name I can find. I think it much more likely the surname was something similar that aligns with area German names; Winter, Wuster, Wurth, Weymar, Weber, Walter, Weiler, Wagner. There are quite a lot of options.. just not sure which is correct. "Werner", as far as I can see, does not appear among the original settlers.

Jacob Caspar Fiener was born, Apr 17, 1773 to Matthias Fiener and Anna Barbara Meisner.[1] Jacob Fiener married Catherine Werner, sometime before 1808 and they have just 1 child in the parish registers;

  • Catherine Elizabeth - June 16, 1808

Jacob Caspar Fiener died on Sept 18, 1852 at Gull Island, Queens County. Hannah Catherine Fiener died at Gull Island on Aug 25, 1864.[2]
