Larry Sommer and Lois Sommer Goglia spoke very highly of their grandmother. They remember her as kind and loving, with a strong personality. She grumbled when she didn't get her way. Lois remembers "Bubby" keeping a 4x4 sweet chocolate candy bar in the kitchen. Larry Sommer inherited "Bubbe's" oriental rug. Maggie Reger Jong inherited the matching floor runner. She gave it to Michelle Sommer during her visit to CA, in 2002. Phone call with Rosalie Lyshkow Bloom 3/16/2006: Rosalie called Ida "Tonta", meaning aunt.
