Biography

When Charles Fischer was born in 1876 in Truro, Ohio, his father, Andrew, was 47 and his mother, Magdalena, was 34. He married Margaret Daisy Todd on March 15, 1899, in Franklin, Ohio. They had one child during their marriage. He died on April 13, 1970, in Springfield, Ohio, at the age of 94, and was buried in Gahanna, Ohio.

Charles' parents died in 1877 and 1878, leaving their four surviving children orphaned. The estate inventory lists Charles and his siblings who will benefit from the proceeds, and other family members are listed as purchasing items at the estate sale. The children lived with extended family members after the death of their parents. Edward and Adam Fischer eventually moved to Wapello, IA where they are buried. Clara Fischer Beane also went to Wapello, IA but returned to Ohio and is buried in Green Lawn in the same plot as Andrew Fischer. Charles Fischer lived with family and stayed in the Columbus, OH area, being buried in Mifflin Cemetery in Gahanna, OH.

Charles was born in 1876. He was the son of Andrew Fischer and Magdalena Siebold. He passed away in 1970.
