Biography
Edmund Fishwick was a passenger on the Empress of Ireland on May 29, 1914.
Research Notes
While the sources do not directly establish Edmund's parents' names, they were almost certainly John and Elizabeth Fishwick (nee Heywood). John and Elizabeth married in 1865 in Manchester. In the 1881 census, we find them living in Manchester with some of their children. We know that this is the right Elizabeth because she was living with her unmarried sister, Mary Heywood. For some reason, Edmund is not listed in the 1881 census. Howevever, we know Edmund's mother's name was named Heywood/Haywood because in the 1901 census he was living with his uncle, Harry Haywood,
