She was the 2nd daughter of Thomas Joseph Fitzgerald (-1849), of Ballinaparka, County of Waterford, and Elizabeth Humble (-June 1844), daughter of Sir John Nugent Humble, 1st Bt.

On 21 June 1866 she married Richard Henry Dansey Vivian, without issue.
