Biography
Matthew was born in 1771.
Mathew, son of Henry Fleck, was baptised on 4 April 1771 in Ryton, Durham, England.[1]
Although Matthew and Mary appear to have the intention of marrying before the birth of their son, and obtained a marriage licence [2], there is no evidence the marriage took place.
Matthew married Jane Rutter on 8 December 1802 in All Saints, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England.[3] by licence [4] 7 Dec 1802 Matthew Fleck (agent, age 30, of Ryton) obtained a licence to marry Jane Rutter (age 26, of All Saints, Newcastle-upon-Tyne), directed to All Saints Surety: William Rutter, free porter, of All Saints [5]
He passed away in 1836 and was buried at Ryton, Durham 6 Nov 1836 Matthew Fleck, of Swalwell, age: 66 [5]
