Biography
Mary Elizabeth Fletcher was born on 22 March 1924 in Hominy, Oklahoma. She first married someone with the surname Dixon; his first name and the circumstances of their marriage are unknown, but she was going by Mary Fletcher Dixon by March 1945.[1] She then married Epifanio Montalvo on 7 November 1966 in Starr County, Texas; they divorced on 5 March 1986 in Miami-Dade County, Florida.[2][3] Divorce/marriage records overlap here: she is listed as having married her third husband, John "Johnnie" Andrew Cobb (her mother's second husband) on 17 October 1983.[4] Mary died on 7 September 1989 in Brownfield, Texas.[5][6] She is buried at Brownfield Cemetery.[7]
