FLINN, Elisha - and T. N. Mayhew were married in Wood County, West Virginia,
Dec. 25, 1861, and have had eight children: Edward Flinn, born Nov. 28, 1862,
died Aug. 19, 1864; Sadie H., Nov. 24, 1864; Louisa V., Sept. 13, 1868;
Charley, Jan. 2, 1871; Pet, April 5, 1873, died Oct. 4, 1874; Harry M., Oct.
4, 1875; Benjamin F., Oct. 5, 1877; Clay N., March 4, 1880. His wife was
born on Neals Run, July 21, 1844, and is the daughter of Walker and Alcinda
Mayhew. Mr. Flinn was born in Pond Creek, West Virginia, Aug. 19, 1838, and
is the son of John and Phebe (Cross) Flinn. [2]
