Biography

Elizabeth was born on March 9, 1869 in Van Zandt County, Texas. She was the oldest daughter of William Flowers and Amelia Elizabeth Flowers.^[1][2]

She married Robert Roddy on December 3rd, 1885.^[3][4] The couple would remain in Van Zandt County where they raised their 11 children; Bealu, Frank S, Yancey Howard, Timmie Olevie, Lily Bell, Zora C, Macey, Dud Riley, Ottie Opal, Rosetta and R T.^[5][6][7][8]

Elisa eventually passed away on April 20th, 1934 at the age of 65, 1 day before her husband passed away.^[9] They were laid to rest together in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Roddy, Van Zandt County, Texas.^[10]
