Mark was born about 1805 in Cork, County Cork, Ireland. He married Lucinda Huffman in Kentucky.[1]They had one child.

Jane Floyd is represented in the manifest of the ship logs for the "Ship (Brig?) Jane sailing from the Port of Londonderry" in Ireland under the command of "F. I. Luberg" on 23 June 1821:

Death and Burial
Mark died around 1850 in Big Clifty, Grayson, Kentucky.[citation needed] It is not currently known where he was buried.
