Laurence Folsom was born in 1841 in Georgia to Maston Folsom and Eliza Lawson.[1][2] He served as a private in Company I of the 29th Regiment of the Georgia Infantry, Confederate States of America, during the Civil War.[3] Laurence passed away in 1863 and is buried in the
Lauderdale Springs CSA Cemetery in Lauderdale, Mississippi.[4]
