Peleg, son of Thomas and Jane (Thomas) Ford, was born on March 1, 1746/7 and died there on November 23, 1798. His is buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Marshfield.
He married Olive Sampson on October 4, 1781 in Marshfield. Olive is the daughter of Paul and Esther (Chandler) Samson. She was born in Duxbury on April 8, 1756 and died in Marshfield on October 16, 1825.

Probate
Peleg Ford of Marshfield, yeoman died intestate and on 4 March 1799, his widow Olive Ford was granted the administration of his estate.[2]
His inventory was taken on 29 May 1799 in Marshfield.[3]
In 1808, Chandler Sampson of Marshfield was appointed guardian to his son, Chandler Ford, a minor under the age of 14 years.[4]
