Biography

Charlie Archer Ford was born on 19 Jul 1892 in Lonoke County, Arkansas. He was the son of Robert Ford and Burnice McDaniel. Charlie passed away in Logan County, Arkansas on 4 Jan 1946 and was buried in the Shady Grove Cemetery #1, Cleveland County, Arkansas.^[1][2][3]

1910 Census: Charlie A. Ford is living with his father, Robert Ford (44), and his step-mother in Princeton, Dallas County, Arkansas. The record shows that Charlie was 18 and born in Arkansas.^[4]

9 Jan 1916: Charlie Ford and Miss Myrtice Garlington (18) were married in Cleveland County, Arkansas. The record notes that Charlie was 23 and a resident of Crook, Cleveland County, Arkansas.^[5][6]

1930 Census: Charlie and Myrtle (30) Ford are living in the Tappan Township of Phillips County, Arkansas. The record shows that Charlie was 38 years old, born in Arkansas, and that he was 22 when he married the then 15 years old Mrytle. The couple have 6 children in their home: Hoyke (13), E B (11), Dale (9), John H (7), Madine (5), and Clatine (3).^[7]
