Annie Foreman was born in the Cherokee Nation in 1856. She was the daughter of John Foreman and Yakini "Katie" Whitekiller, both Cherokee. [1] She married Ben O'Field(s) about 1878. They were the parents of Sam, [2] Maggie (on census as "Page") [3] Chickaleelee (Minnie), Bushyhead, Bettie(Beatrice), and Sallie. [4][5]
Annie was enrolled by the Dawes Commission as a Cherokee by blood and was approved for a share of the Eastern Cherokee (Guion Miller) payment. [6] Ben died in 1914. In 1920 Annie was living with daughter Sallie and her family. [7] Annie married Lacey Scoggin in 1923. [8]
Annie's death date is unknown. Lacey married again in 1927.
