Eustache Fortin was born and baptized on 5 Aug 1798 in Saint-Vallier parish, Bellechasse. He was the son of Antoine Fortin and Marguerite Blanchet. Godparents at Eustache's baptism were Eustache Roy and Victoire Letourneau. Eustache married Victoire Roy on 4 Aug 1817 in Saint-Vallier parish. There are records for 8 children.
