Biography
His parents are Elijah Foster and Mary Magee. When Mary Jane married Elbridge they lived in a remote spot on Scugog Island. They began to hold Sunday School at their cabin because there was no church. Then many neighbors began to join the family meetings and subsequently a church was built on Scugog Island.
