Biography

When William Lawrence France was born on May 4, 1914, his father, Charles France, was 47 and his mother, Mary Janoski, was 30. He married Gladys Irene Stievenart on November 10, 1939, in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. They had one child during their marriage. He died on January 1, 1979, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the age of 64, and was buried in Scott Township, Pennsylvania.
