Biography

Sherman Louis was born in 1899 in Linn, Missouri. He is the son of James Nathan Franklin and Kissiah M. Hall. [1] [2]

He married Pearl Lottie Segress on 2 Aug 1923 in Canadian, Oklahoma. [3] They had the following children:

  1. Doris Laurene Franklin, born about 1924
  2. Norma L. Franklin, born about 1927
  3. Melvin L Franklin 1931, born about 1931

Pearl was the daughter of John Luther Segress (1871-1946) and Minnie Bell Hendrix (1874-1930).

Sherman passed away on 13 Jul 1939 in Union City, Canadian County, Oklahoma. [4]
