Biography

Alexander George Fraser was born at Bodalla, New South Wales, in 1900.^[1] He was the son of Daniel Fraser and Mary Anne Davis.

He enlisted at Cobargo, NSW, on 5 August, 1918. He was recorded as 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a dark complexion, grey eyes, dark brown hair, and a member of the Presbyterian church. He was working as a 'motor driver.' He does not appear to have served during WWI, as he was recorded discharged 31 Dec 1918.^[2]

He married Mary Margaret Robson at The Presbyterian Church, Nowra on 3 February 1934.^[3][3][4]

Alexander enlisted during World War II - military record not yet digitised (20 Aug 2022).^[5]

He died in hospital on 3 December, 1975, and was privately cremated.^[6][7]
