David was born in 1883. He is the son of James Fraser and Elizabeth Smith [1][2]

Fraser.—ln loving memory of David Millar Fraser, who, died in the Oamaru Hospital, 1st May, 1906. Had we but seen his parting look Or watched by his lonely bed We think our hearts would not have felt The bitter tears we shed. -- Inserted by his parents ana brothers and sisters. [3]

In loving memory of David Millar Fraser, who died at Oamaru, May 1st, 1906. He left his home in perfect health, Never, thinking that death was near, Not dreaming that he never would Return to his home so dear. A painful shock, a dreadful blow, Oh, brother, dearest, we miss you so. Our loss is great, we'll not complain, But trust in God to meet again. Rest, dearest brother, sweetly rest, They miss you most who loved you best. (Inserted by his family.) [4]

FRASER.—In sad and loving memory of David Millar Fraser, beloved son of James and Elizabeth Fraser, who died in the Oamaru Hospital, May 1st, 1906. Eight lonely years have passed Since this great sorrow fell; Yet in our hearts we mourn the loss Of one we loved so well.
