Biography
Mother at birth was Ruby (Rae)Leonora Freeman and name on birth certificate is Poppy Freeman, father on birth certificate is unknown but is believed to be a local Butcher. Adoption by Ada Christian was finalised in March 1929 , name on adoption certificate was Mary Poppy and then became known as Molly. Molly kept in touch with her birth mother thoughout her life and visited her and her husband William Wink (married 1928). Ada Christian lived in Wallasey and Molly grew up in Wirral.
