Biography

Elizabeth was probably the daughter of Joseph Freeman and Dorothy Freeman of Sudbury, Massachusetts.^[1] No other person with this name and birthdate has been found. Her brothers both moved to Preston, Connecticut. It is unsure if her parents moved there or died in Sudbury.

Elizabeth married Daniel Brewster in 1710 in Preston. The children were Eunice, Ruth, Mary, and Daniel. None survived at the time of her death.

Her inventory was exhibited to the probate court by Nathan Freeman. It was taken on 4 July 1757 in Preston. Her estate was to be distributed to the children of John Freeman, decd., and Joseph Freeman, decd., her siblings.^[2]

In 1758, the estate distribution was set out to Joseph, James Caleb, John, Nathan, Ebenezer, Benjamin and Samuel Freeman, and Hannah, wife of William Witter, Oliver Clark in the right of his wife, Joseph Stanton in the right of his wife, widow Sarah Cogswell, and Samuel Smith in the right of his wife.^[3]
