Fireman 3rd Class Herman Friske served in the United States Navy in World War I Service started: Unit(s): Service ended: 20 Mar 2020
When Herman registered for the draft for World War I in Sep 1918, he working as a machinest helper for Ashland & J. H. Bell Railroad, Blue Island. [1], [2] During WWI, he served as a Fireman 3rd class in the United States Navy.[3]
Herman and Adeline Theresa (Klade) Friske were married on 6 Feb 1921 in Cook County, Illinois.[4] Adeline was born on 15 October 1900 in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Their children were:
