Biography

Mary was born in 1816. She was the daughter of Thomas Fruit and Elizabeth Thompson.

Mary was born May 24 1816 in Kentucky. Mary was named after her maternal grandmother (Mary Polly Reader). She married George Cox on Oct 25 1834. She and George had ten children.

After George passed away, Mary later married Thomas Davenport on January 23 1859. She and Thomas had three children together.

Mary was the daughter of Thomas Clark Fruit who was one of the early and well-known pioneers of his section of the State.
