Biography
Immigrated to Queensland in 1853 . Was a licenced surveyor , part owner of sugar mill , member for East Moreton in Queensland Parliament from Jan6 1874 to Jun1876 , first Queensland inspector of mines , Southern Division 1882 till 1904 .[1]
