Biography

This profile is part of the St Helens, Lancashire One Place Study.

John Fryer was christened on 10 May 1829 at St Helens Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire. He was the son of John and Ellen Fryer. His father's occupation was recorded as labourer, and the family's address as Eccleston.

It's likely John died between 1829 and the start of civil registration in 1837, because he's not been found in the censuses of 1841 or 1851. However no burial record has yet been found for him.
