Treading in his fathers footsteps to become a successful motor racing driver since 1973 to the present day winning over 750 events and in the top three of another 500 events. An overall winner of many British and Regional championship titles in saloons, sports and GT cars. An MSA / FIA race car instructor and a prolific builder of several successful race cars for events in sprinting, hillclimb and circuit racing. At present he is competing in the 2021 British Sprint Championship in a historic race car. He went on at the age of 60 to take a BA Hons Degree, become a part time lecturer, author and historian of English and European medieval buildings, specialising in Britain's Gatehouses and Lodges.
