William married Ann Allan, daughter of John Allan, on 13 Mar, 1884 in Minmi, New South Wales, Australia.[2][3]
William was a member of The Grand United Order of Free Gardeners, Star of Western Druids Lodge, and Aberdare Extended Miners' Lodge.[4]
William passed away on 20 May, 1938 in Cessnock, New South Wales, Australia.[5] His funeral was held on 22 May, 1938 and he was interred at the Cessnock Cemetery in Cessnock, New South Wales, Australia.[4]
