His occupation was recorded as a stonemason and builder.
He resided in the Upper Sturt / Crafers area in SA.
William married Louisa Ann SHIELDS on 31 May 1869 in Adelaide SA (at St John Church).[6]
Louisa died on 8 February 1872, leaving one child.
William married Rebecca CHAPLIN on 6 February 1879 in West Mitcham SA (at the Primitive Methodist Chapel).[7] The couple had six children.
William died on 1 August 1921 in Crafers SA.[8][9]
He was interred (buried) on 3 August 1921 in Stirling General Cemetery, Stirling East SA.[10][11][12]
