Biography
Joseph D. Gaines was born on October 13, 1861, in Clinton, Missouri. He married Mary 'Mollie' C. Walters (1868-1958) on September 10, 1882, in Platte, Missouri[1] and they had two children.[2] He died on January 22, 1919, in Bowling Green, Missouri,[3] at the age of 57, and was buried there.[4]
