Biography

James Galvin was born about 1809 as his age was 95 years as listed at Wybong cemetery when he died in 1905 at Muswellbrook. James and Mary O'CONNOLEY married in Ireland about 1840.

James emigrated from Ireland to Australia at the age of 24, arriving 29 Jun 1850 on the 'LLOYDS', with him was his wife Mary aged 29; Patrick 12; Michael 8; Mary 4.

Note: His birth year would be 1826 if he was only 24 years old in 1850.

I have documented five children but could be more.
