Biography
George was born 26 Apr 1844 the son of Samuel and Sarah Garrison. His place of birth is seen as Centralia, Marion, Illinois but this lacks primary source documentation. By 1850 the Garrison family lives in Oregon, Schuyler, Illinois.[1] He married Nancy J O'Conner 29 Oct 1868.[citation needed] By 1870 they are recorded in Clinton County, Illinois with first son Frank[2] and by 1880 are in Irvington, Washington County, Illinois.[3] By 1900 the family had moved to Kansas and was living in Center (Greensburg), Kiowa, Kansas.[4][5] George passed away 13 Nov 1912 and is interred at Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg, Kiowa, Kansas.[6]
