According to his death certificate[1], James William Gibson was born 14 Oct 1873 in Webster Co., Kentucky. He worked as an engineer. James was buried in Providence, KY.


1880 Census

James W. Gipson was enumerated on 19 Jun 1880 in Jones Stand, Webster Co., KY as a son, age 6, living with I.T. Gipson (should be J. T.) age 25 and Elithabeth Gipson, age 24.[2]

1920 Census

James W. was enumerated on 3 Jan 1920 in Dixon, Webster Co., KY as head of household living with his wife, Nancy, and children William, Fred, Carl, Gracy, Everett, James, Mary Anne and Minnie .[3]
