Theodorus Gijsen was born as a son of Gerardus (Gerrit, Gerit) Gijsen (Gisen).[1]
Theodorus Gijsen married Loescken around 1610 ("Loeske de vrouw van Derick Gijsen betaald den thijns."[2]
Their son Gijsbert Gijsen was born before 1617.
