Michiel Gijsen was born on March 29, 1889, in Heythuysen, Limburg, Netherlands, the son of Johannes Gijsen and Helena Verstappen.[1]
He married Hendrica Baselmans, the daughter of Johannes Baselmans and Gordina van de Laar, on June 17, 1921, in Heythuysen, Limburg, Netherlands.[2]
