Biography
Nelda was born in 1935. She married Kent Heindel Brownlee in 1955. At some point she and her husband, Kent Brownlee, moved to Greeley, Colorado. Sbe worked as a waitress in the Chef Cafe and later worked in management of school meals in Greeley Schools. Nelda and Kent adopted two sons, Samuel Kent Brownlee who became an Under Sherriff for Weld County, Colorado. Sadly, Sam lost his life when shot while chasing a criminal. His brother was Michael Brownlee who worked in Japan after his career in the U.S. Navy. Nelda passed away in 2020.
