Biography

Harry James Gilbert's birth was registered in the Medway district of Kent in the 4th quarter of 1844 with his mother's maiden name recorded as Sippets. [1]

In 1850, Henry and family emigrate to New Zealand on the "Travancore".[2]

Harry James Gilbert died in Ballarat East in 1906 aged 61 with his parents at death recorded as Charles Gilbert and Elizabeth Sippets.[3]
