Will dated 12 May 1555 and proved 13 Aug 1555^[1]asks to be buried at Corton Denham near his parents Robert and Margaret, and names:

Th National Burial Index has an Anthony Gilbert buried at Corton Denham on 18 Jul 1560.^[3] FreeReg has the date as 15 Jul 1559^[4] but entries against either of these dates do not appear in the images of the Register on Ancestry.co.uk suggesting a difference between perhaps the original Register and Bishop's or other transcripts or incorrect year; there is also not an entry against 1555 (the year his Will was written and proved).
