Biography

Gertrude Lavenia Gilchrist was born on 27 July 1917 in Glenwood, Pike County, Arkansas, United States. She was the daughter of Thomas Jackson Gilchrist (1879–1922) and Julia (McBride) Gilchrist.[1]

Gertrude Lavenia Gilchrist, age 19 years, was married to Irvin Carter Westerfield on Easter Sunday, 12 April 1936, in Montgomery County, Arkansas.[2][3]

Gertrude Lavenia (Gilchrist) Westerfield died on 15 March 1988, aged 70.[4]
