Biography

Denys was born on 18 November 1915 in Teignmouth, Northumberland, England. He was the son of Thomas Henry James Gillam and Doris (Homfray) Gillam.^[1]

Denys served in the Royal Air Force in World War II.^[2] (source has a picture of him with Nancye)

He married Nancye Short in 1945.^[3]

After the death of his first wife, he married Irene Scott in March 1983 in Westminster, Middlesex.

Denys died at the age of 75 on 2 July 1991 in Ryedale, North Yorkshire, England.^[4][5]
