Margaret was born about 1791. She was the daughter of daughter of JOHN GILLESPIE and MARGARET CRAIG ^[1]

It is noted that five of the Gillespie daughters received portions of the Gillespie lands, suggesting that each portion was a wedding present.

Margaret married Samuel Faulkner.

She passed away in 1855. She is buried at Shiloh A.R.P. Cemetery in Lancaster, South Carolina.
