Biography
Margaret Gillis was born on 22 April 1828 in North Carolina, United States. She was the daughter of Lt David Chase Gillis (~1792 - 1878) and Christian (Black) Gillis (~1796 - 1857).
Margaret Gillis and Neill Blue were married on 24 December, Cumberland County, North Carolina.[1] They were the parents of about 8 children.[2][3][4][5]
Margaret (Gillis) Blue died on 12 November 1890 at the age of 62. She was buried in Galatia Presbyterian Church, Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina.[6]
