Biography
Susannah Magdalena Gisel was born 20 February 1822 in Schaffhausen Canton, Switzerland. [1] She was a daughter of Tobias Gisel and Verena Hedinger. Susanna married Johannes Christian Ritzmann 4 September 1845 in Zurich, Switzerland. She immigrated from Bremen, Germany to New York on ship "Hohenzollern," landing on April 10, 1884. [2] She passed away 4 December 1891 in Cheektowaga, Erie County, New York. She was interred in Buffalo Cemetery, Cheektowaga, Erie County, New York. [1]
