Anne Jane (Glascott) Rice was born in 1818 or 1819 in Exmouth, Devon, England. She was the daughter of Cradock John Glascott and Georgiana Goodin (Bourke) Glascott. She married Frederick Elton on April 18, 1844 in Seaton, Devon, England. She passed away in 1877 in Keynsham, Somerset, England.
