James was born about 1805. [1]
His wife was Margaret (Henry) Glasgow (abt.1810-1892). [2]
He passed away 27 Jul 1875 at Killycurragh due to chronic pneumonia. Informed by Thomas James Glasgow, Killycurragh. [3] He is buried in a family plot at Clare Churchyard, Kildress. [4] [5]
There were other James Glasgow of similar age in nearby townlands.
In Killycurragh for Griffith's Valuation were four James: jun., sen., (Mitchell) and (Thomas). The named disambiguators are usually a father's name or mother's maiden name, but not always.
The cemetery headstone gives the suffix "jun." and confirms his wife (d. 1892) and daughters Annie (d 1896), Jane (d 1925), Margaret (d 1928) and John (d 1929)
The children Thomas James, Nancy, Allen, Samuel, Sarah and John are definitely all siblings as can be seen from their funeral mourners list / wills -- particularly that of Nancy.
In the will of Thomas Henry (-1860), the executor is named "James Glasgow of Killycurragh, son-in-law". Hence I have assigned his wife the maiden name Henry; and the farm of Thomas Henry passes to James's son Thomas J. Glasgow according to the Valuation Update Books. I believe "Rutherford" as on the Findagrave page is incorrect; see Margaret's profile for more detail.
