Elijah Denton Golden was born on July 16, 1930 in White, Tennessee, United States, son of Henry Clay Golden (~1889–~1965) and Zora Denton (1895–1987).
Elijah (42) married Effie Erlene Pack (61) (born on July 4, 1911 in Smithville, DeKalb, Tennessee; daughter of George Washington Pack and Betty Elvira (Buckner) Pack) on July 1, 1973 in White. [1]
In the 1940 census Elijah (age 9) was the son of Henry Golden in Civil District 12, White, Tennessee, United States.[2] Henry Golden 53, wife Zora Golden 44, daughter Maretta Golden 24, daughter Sarrah Golden 19, daughter Gladys Golden 17, daughter Dimple Golden 15, daughter Jewell Golden 13, son Elijah D Golden 9, nephew Franklin Golden 23.
In the 1950 census Elijah (age 19) was the never married brother of Sarah Golden in Sparta, White, Tennessee, United States.[3] Sarah Golden 29 years, daughter Mary K Golden 9 years, daughter Margaret L Golden 6 years, daughter Frances Jean Golden, Jr 3 years, sister Gladys R Golden 27 years, brother Elijah D Golden 19 years.
Elijah died on November 17, 1996 in Dayton, Montgomery, Ohio, United States, aged 66. He was buried in Saylors Cemetery, Sparta, Tennessee.[4]
