-Veronica Goldschmidt was born June 5, 1843, in Butler Co., O. In 1846 she moved with her parents to Lee Co., Ia., and in 1857 moved to Henry Co., Ia., where she lived until her marriage to Joseph Gingerich, Jan. 29, 1863, from which time she lived in Johnson County, Ia., until her death. She died Aug. 12, 1909, aged 66 y. 2 m. 7 d., having lived in matrimony 46 y. 6 m. 13 d. Burial at Lower Deer Creek Cemetery 8-15-1909
