William married Susie Jones on 14 April 1897 in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky, United States.[2]
By 1900, the couple was divorced, as William was listed as divorced and living with his brother-in-law John Bowman's family in Louisville, Kentucky. His occupation was listed as school teacher.[3]
By 1920 William had remarried to Georgia Smith and they were living with 4 children in Louisville
In1930 William was working as a lawyer in Louisville, and was listed with wife Georgia and 4 children. [4]
In 1940 William and Georgia were living with Georgia's mother Mary F Smith in Louisville, along with two children.[5]
William H. Goodall Sr. passed away 12 Jun 1843 in Jefferson, Kentucky.[6]
The Courier-Journal (Louisville, KY) reported on 14 Jun 1943, p. 8:
"William H. Goodall, Sr., 81, Negro, lawyer and former editor of the Louisville Defender, Negro publication, died at 8 a.m. Saturday at his home at Anchorage. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Merciful Savior. Burial will be in Louisville Cemetery. He taught in Louisville public schools for many years."[7]
Huntley's child Miles Lloyd Goodall died on 26 December 1957 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, United States.[8]
