Permelia was born in 1790 to possibly David Goodman and Nancy Deal.

Research Notes

1. Whether or not Robert Goodman and Ann Neal are Permelia's parents needs to be researched. If true, Robert was 15 and Ann was 11 when Permelia was born. Also, there are a number of Goodman Family trees that have been heavily researched and none of them name Permelia as a child of this couple. Since she comes from the same area, I think it is more likely that she belongs to one of the many other Goodman families. I haven't found documentation to prove which one just yet but still looking. 2. Permelia is not the child Robert Goodman (Goodman-4011) and Ann Neal (Neal-3506). They were married in Virginia and soon moved to Tennessee. She is most likely the child of David Goodman and Nancy Deal. This still needs more research. Detaching from Robert Goodman and Ann Neal.
