Biography

Claus Goossen was born before 1790 in Boerde Oldendorf, Hannover. He was a School Master and Tenant Farmer (Schulmeister and Meyer). Claus married Anne Aldag on 12 May 1809 in Oldendorf.
From Blumenthal Parish records, for the wedding of Peter and Margrete,"the late Claus (Goosen) head tenant farmer on local noble property in Borstel”. Peter and Margrete were married April 1839, so his death date was prior to 1839
